ETHAN GRANGER
Lead Vocals & Acoustic Guitar
Ethan has been a member of Firm Foundation since its start in 2015. While growing up in a musical household, he found many opportunities to learn from his parents to become a better musician and worship leader. At a young age his mom taught him piano, but quickly took to guitar and singing when they started the band. He is currently pursuing a degree in Music Industry Studies at Louisiana Tech to better his craft and music development. He is passionate about writing songs that help others grow close to the Lord while fulfilling leadership roles within ministry. When Ethan is not playing or writing music, he loves spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and hiking.
Fun Facts: Ethan enjoys cooking and started writing music when he was in the sixth grade.
“My favorite things about playing gigs and leading worship are the people. There is something so powerful about a room full of strangers worshiping and singing to the same God, Jesus. I am so humbled that God blessed me with the opportunity to even be up on that stage. The crowd and congregation I sing with minister to me just as I minister to them.”
ELLA GRANGER
Keyboardist & Background Vocals
Ella joined Firm Foundation in 2020, but her love for music began long before that. At a young age she learned to play the piano, guitar, and ukelele while discovering her vocals. She is currently enrolled in Providence Classical Academy and her favorite hobbies include music, baking, traveling, and playing basketball. Her favorite Firm Foundation gig thus far has been playing for Carolina Creek’s summer camp.
Fun Facts: Ella laughs far more than she talks and has visited the Great Wall of China.
“Music has always been one of my favorite hobbies. Being able to use my musical abilities within Firm Foundation has been the greatest blessing. Not only am I pursuing something I love, but I am growing closer to the Lord while doing so.”
JONATHAN GRANGER
Drummer
Jonathan helped bring the vision of Firm Foundation to life in 2015. He has played drums, guitar, and piano since he was young and is currently into boosting his social media via drum reels on Instagram. Jonathan is pursuing a degree in Finance at Louisiana Tech University. In his free time, he loves to fish, hike, and play spike-ball. His favorite Firm Foundation gig thus far has been the annual Christmas concert performed at their home church.
Fun Facts: Jonathan enjoys horror movies and is a very picky eater.
“Firm Foundation is an opportunity for me to live out our calling from the Lord. Our music allows us to share the good news of our Savior with others while actively worshiping Him.”
DAVID GRANGER
Rhythm Electric Guitar & Background Vocals
David joined Firm Foundation in 2021, but he has been a vital part of the band since its inception. He and his wife, Allison, originally began training the group of middle school students who formed Firm Foundation back in 2015. He has served as the worship pastor at Norris Ferry Community Church in Shreveport, LA for 17 years. His favorite hobbies are spending time with family, fishing, hunting, and playing guitar. David’s favorite Firm Foundation gig was Breakaway camp at Tall Timbers in the summer of 2023.
Fun Facts: David has traveled to play music in 44 US states as well as Holland, Switzerland, Canada, and Germany.

BRAYDEN HERMES
Lead Electric Guitar
Brayden has been a member of Firm Foundation since its early start in 2015. His interest in guitar began at age ten simply because “it looked cool.” He is currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana Tech University. His favorite hobbies include leading worship at both his home and college-town church, playing sports, traveling, and linguistics. His favorite Firm Foundation gig thus far has been playing for Generate’s All-Staff Training in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
Fun Facts: Brayden can play seven instruments and is ambidextrous.

PIERCE JENKINS
Bassist
Pierce joined Firm Foundation in 2017 with a strong passion for music. He plays bass, drums, piano, and occasionally the melodica! His self-taught musical presence began at age 11 and continues to flourish. He is pursuing a degree in Music Industry Studies at Louisiana Tech University with hopes of obtaining a career in music production. Pierce’s favorite Firm Foundation gig thus far has been their time at “ONE WKND.”
Fun Fact: He loves movies, especially a good rom-com.
